I wasn't going to submit this, I really wasn't. In fact, I was dead against it. Until... well, until Anna Kate practically said she would kill me if I didn't. So, here it is. I do like the subject, not to be completely arrogant. In no way, however, am I aplauding the composition. It is not exactly "artsy" if you will.
I did some touchups in Photoshop. The wagon and dog are all that matter in the picture, thus them being in color. I added saturation to the wagon itself slightly to emphasize it even more so.
"Look at him! He can no longer walk! But he still loves to go outside. Look at him! He's smiling for chrissakes!" - Anna Kate.
She probably looked at it for fifteen minutes straight. She's adorable. She also wanted me to point out that this is a "special edition" radio flyer. I can't remember why.
They are. This same day (in fact, I think it was maybe two minutes before in a store while we were looking for batters) there was another really cute poodle-like dog, gray and adorable, but the owner was a huge bitch and when my friend tried to pet the dog, she picked it up and walked out of the store. What a total bitch. I hate this person now.
I agree with the processing. I never do it. In fact, the only other deviation I had that I had tried this with, I deleted. Hahaha. But, it did seem to fit this picture. Oh well.
Nice picture... very illustrative..... I like that efect... where everything's b/w and something's in color.... like tecnicolor... how do you do that?...~ VioLeSfrail:

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
